3.7 / 3.9, Big Bore Conversion

Westwood have developed a big bore conversion for the Porsche Boxster / Cayman / 996 engines.

This kit has been designed for increasing capacity on the Cayman 3.4, 996 3.4, 996 3.6 engines. Increases from:

• Cayman 3.4 Litre upto 3.7 or 3.9 Litre
• 996 3.4 Litre upto 3.7 or 3.9 Litre
• Cayman 3.4 Litre upto 3.7 or 3.9 Litre

The kit includes 100.00mm Ductile iron cylinder liners and Mahle Motorsport Pistons.

The increase from 3.4 to 3.7 requires the pistons and liners for the capacity increase. The increase from 3.4 to 3.9 requires the pistons and liners PLUS the crankshaft and rods from a 3.8 997 engine for the capacity increase.
